Artisan Dialogue with a Scholar - Series

I am being told I will be interviewed by a scholar on the subject of Early Louisiana Trades and Artist followed by 4 hr session of me building a creole table while spectators can ask questions... we'll see how this interview goes, haha.

Classes:

TBD - At this time there are no scheduled classes. Please check back often as this is expected to change soon. Please let me know if there is a particular class or demonstration you would like to attend and we will see about setting it up.

This schedule will include classes offered at LSU's Rural Life Museum in Baton Rouge, LA as well as those offered at the Whispering Woods International School of Woodworking in St. Mary's, GA.

Personal Tours of the LSU Rural Life Museum's Furniture, Tools and building with Jean Becnel are available upon request. Please Contact the Rural Life Museum to arrange. I do encourage you to consider making a donation, however small it may be, to the help fund the newly planned Woodworking and Timbering Exhibit.

In the future you will see scheduled Historical Site Visits in South Louisiana guided by Jean Becnel and others where we will visit historical locations of interest and investigate the clues of construction methods based upon the evidence left behind and discuss the various construction types and designs found.
